Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion, and he recently beat WWE Champion AJ Styles in a non-title match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Raw won’t have another exclusive pay-per-view for a few months, so now all eyes are looking ahead to the Royal Rumble in January, and fans are wondering who Brock Lesnar’s next challenger will be.
Finn Balor has teased a possible title match with The Beast a few times throughout 2017, but it was recently reported that Vince McMahon doesn’t think Balor is over enough to challenge Brock Lesnar for the belt.
Vince McMahon might not think Finn Balor is over enough, but the fans seem to disagree.
WWE.com recently posted a poll asking fans who they want to see challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title, and Balor won the poll by a landslide.
Balor currently leads the poll with 39% of the votes, with Braun Strowman in second place taking 21% of the votes. Triple H follows with 10%, then Roman Reigns with 9% and Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Dean Ambrose and “Other” make up the rest of the votes.
With Balor not being scheduled for the Universal Title match in January it seems that Brock Lesnar’s opponent is up in the air, but one thing’s for sure, the fans have spoken.
