Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw should be one of the more interesting shows fans see this year, as WWE usually throws in a surprise or two during the post-SummerSlam edition of Raw, and it’s likely that the rowdy fans in attendance will be offering up some interesting chants.
It’s already been confirmed that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will be appearing on tonight’s show, and John Cena is also being advertised.
Enzo Amore and Big Cass are set to collide in a Brooklyn Street Fight tonight, and John Cena is scheduled to wrestle on Raw. The big theme for tonight’s show will be all of the new champions who were crowned at SummerSlam making their first appearances as champions.
Braun Strowman destroyed Brock Lesnar during the main event of SummerSlam on Sunday night, but it was Brock Lesnar who won the fatal 4-way match and walked away with the Universal Title.
It’s been rumored that Strowman and Lesnar could be facing off once again at the No Mercy pay-per-view in September, and now PWInsider is reporting that that the current plan is for Lesnar to defend his Universal Title against Strowman at the event.
No Mercy is set to take place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 24.
