When you’re a WWE Superstar you have to get used to traveling a lot. The stars of NXT are also no stranger to traveling. But unlike the WWE Superstars who often have to make towns on their own, they get to travel together like a big class field trip.
But whenever you’re traveling from place to place you always run the risk of flight delays. To say the NXT stars experienced a travel delay on their way to NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III is an understatement, to say the least.
The WWE Superstars of tomorrow had to endure a shocking thirteen-hour delay on their way to New York City. It was a rather trying time but at least it was a good opportunity for Adam Cole to bond with his new coworkers.
There’s not a whole lot you can do at an airport when you’re stuck there for thirteen hours. But thankfully we live in the modern-age with social media so the NXT stars and head coach Matt Bloom could update fans on the NXT roster’s whereabouts.
You can delay our flight, but you can't delay history. We are coming home, #NXTTakeover Brooklyn III. @WWENetwork #Homecoming

As you can see, Johnny Gargano actually got pretty comfy in the airport. After so long waiting to board his flight he was under the impression that the NXT roster just lived at the airport now. Thankfully he had Billie Kay and Peyton Royce to remind him they were on their way to New York City.

They might have been cutting it close, but at least all of the guys and girls on the NXT roster got to New York City in one piece. Let’s just hope they’re able to get back safely and on time.
