Nia Jax is a very scary lady. Her theme song says she’s not like most girls and that is correct because most girls can’t separate shoulders like they’re breaking toothpicks. When Bayley and Nia Jax squared off against each other last week many thought The Hugger suffered a legit injury and it turns out all they were right on the money.
Preliminary reports stated they couldn’t tell the extent of Bayley’s injuries upon first evaluation due to all the swelling in her shoulder. But WWE has officially confirmed Bayley did indeed suffer a separated shoulder which means she has been pulled from her scheduled SummerSlam match against Alexa Bliss.
Bayley will be at Raw tonight to address the crowd and we can only imagine that will be a pretty heart wrenching segment. But that still leaves a question to be answered as to what WWE is going to do about the Raw Women’s Championship match for The Biggest Party Of The Summer.
Kurt Angle put that speculation to rest when he announced two female triple threat matches are going to take place on Raw tonight. The winners of each of those matches will square off next week and the winner of next week’s match will go on to SummerSlam to face Little Miss Bliss for her championship.
This is not the best news for Bayley and it couldn’t have come at a worse time. But as we’ve said before there really is no great time to suffer an injury that will take you out of in-ring competition. However we’re crossing our fingers in hopes Bayley will be able to make it back sooner than later to get another shot at the Raw Women’s Championship.
With this championship match still up in the air it only adds more interest in SummerSlam which goes to show you that nobody knows what can happen when you’re talking about pro wrestling.
