At SummerSlam Brock Lesnar will be defending his WWE Universal Championship, and for months now fans have been trying to figure out who will be challenging The Beast Incarnate at the annual pay-per-view. There have been a lot of rumors going around in regards to who will be getting the title shot, but this week on Raw all of the rumors were put to rest.
Last week on Raw, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe battled each other in the main event for the chance to become the number 1 contender, but their match was interrupted by Braun Strowman who returned and destroyed them both.
On this week’s show Raw General Manager Kurt Angle cleared up the controversy when he announced that Brock Lesnar will be defending his Universal Title against Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe in a fatal 4-way match at SummerSlam next month.
Bayley also defeated Sasha Banks on this week’s episode of Raw to earn a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
