The first ever WWE Mae Young Classic tournament is set to kick off soon, and another WWE Hall of Famer has been confirmed for the announce team. It was previously announced that Jim Ross and Lita will be teaming up to call the action, and Alundra Blayze, aka Madusa, recently teased her involvement with the tournament on Instagram.

Jim Ross broke the news on the Ross Report podcast that Alundra Blayze will indeed be joining the announce team for the tournament.

The former WWE Women’s Champion seems pretty excited to be involved with the tournament as she recently shared the following photo:

In addition to Alundra Blayze joining the announce team, two more competitors have also been announced for the Mae Young Classic tournament.

WWE confirmed today that Kay Lee Ray and Ayesha Raymond will be competing in the tournament. Ray is a Scottish star who is a former Queen of Southside Champion, Scottish Women’s Champion, SWE Speed King Champion and the current women’s champion for Insane Championship Wrestling.

Ayesha Raymond has held titles in promotions such as STARDOM, IPW and World War Wrestling, and she’s also trained with Johnny Saint, Tony Scarlo and WWE Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside.
