The wrestling world was buzzing about NJPW this weekend thanks to the G1 Special which took place in Long Beach, CA. Kazuchika Okada defended his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Cody Rhodes and Okada picked up the victory. While Okada was in the United States he also visited friends backstage at Raw in Phoenix, Arizona, and he met up with Finn Balor who welcomed him to The Club.

There seems to be tension between The Hype Bros, and it’s rumored that Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley could be splitting up soon.

This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live featured an Independence Day Battle Royal which saw some of SmackDown’s brightest stars compete for the chance to become the number one contender for the United States Championship.

Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley talked about the battle royal before they entered the match, and Mojo made it clear that he was going to do what he had to do in order to win. Rawley ended up eliminating Zack Ryder from the battle royal, and it doesn’t look like Zack Ryder is taking it all that well.

Mojo Rawley told his bro that there’s no hard feelings, but we’ll just have to see what Zack has to say about that next week on SmackDown Live.
