This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live featured a #1 contenders match for Naomi’s SmackDown Women’s Championship, but the match didn’t exactly go as expected. Instead of competing in a match. Tamina, Natalya, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Carmella all just brawled at ringside.

Things got pretty crazy in a short amount of time, and Natalya even went through the announce table. SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon decided to restore order to the show by making his way down to the ring to make a huge announcement.
Shane announced that Tamina, Natalya, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Carmella will all compete in the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, June 18th.
The women of WWE have been making history over the past few years and last fall women headlined a main roster pay-per-view for the first time ever when Charlotte and Sasha Banks wrestled in the first women’s Hell in a Cell match.
Now the women of WWE will be making history once again at Money in the Bank, and most fans are thrilled about the fact that they’re going to see the SmackDown women’s division collide in a ladder match.
The internet has plenty of positive things to say about the announcement, and you can check out some of the reactions below.

The reactions were mundane at best.
