The Miz and Maryse lost a mixed tag team match to John Cena and Nikki Bella on Sunday night at WrestleMania 33, and they were clearly butthurt about it. Miz and Maryse made their way to the ring dressed as John Cena and Nikki Bella, and the crowd ate it up.
The Miz spoofed John Cena and Nikki Bella’s memorable engagement proposal at WrestleMania 33, and then they tried to leave the ring.
As they attempted to leave the ring, the lights went out and a single violin player appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. The violin player started playing a familiar song and the fans got pumped.
Shinsuke Nakamura’s music then hit and the crowd went absolutely nuts. Shinsuke Nakamura made his way to the ring as the violin player stood at the top of the entrance ramp and the crowd sang alog with every note of Shinsuke’s entrance music.
As Shinsuke Nakamura entered the ring, The Miz and Maryse left. His music stopped and the crowd chanted his name very loudly.
Nakamura didn’t say a single word, he just soaked up the adulation from the crowd as the segment ended.
