It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Seth Rollins. Seth and Triple H have been building their feud since August of 2016, and right when it looked like things were about to get good, Seth re-injured his knee.
For weeks Seth’s status for WrestleMania has been in doubt, but last week on Raw, Triple H challenged Rollins to a non-sanctioned match at the show of shows. Triple H invited Rollins to Raw and he told him that he would have the option of signing a Hold Harmless Agreement if he wanted to compete at WrestleMania.
Seth Rollins made his way down to the ring on Raw this week, and he called out Triple H. Hunter made his way down to the ring for the contract signing and he told Seth to sit down in one of the chairs inside the ring. Seth refused to sit down, so Triple H told him the match is off and he exited the ring. Rollins then calmed down and took a seat and the segment continued.
Triple H explained to Rollins that if he signs the agreement that neither he nor WWE will be responsible for what happens to Seth at WrestleMania 33. Triple H signed the contract and continued to taunt Seth Rollins by telling him if he signs, he will walk into WrestleMania, but he won’t walk out.
Seth told him he learned a lot about himself while he was rehabbing, and he told Triple H that he liked himself before he met him. Rollins told him that their match at WrestleMania will be about redemption, because he gave up everything that made him who he was to stand next to Triple H. He told Hunter that WrestleMania will be about getting back who he was before he met Triple H, and then he signed.
Triple H then attacked Seth’s knee and took off his jacket and tie. Hunter tried to hit Rollins with the crutch, but Rollins went for a Pedigree. Triple H blocked it and threw Triple H over the top rope. He then used the crutch to fend off Triple H to end the segment.
It’s official, Triple H and Seth Rollins will face off in a non-sanctioned match at WrestleMania 33.
