WWE announced Jack Swagger hasn’t been released from his contract after he so boldly went on Chael Sonnen’s podcast and announced he had requested his release. On the heels of the initial news, Swagger was booked to appear at an independent show in Norwich, England for WAW, but upon word that WWE hasn’t released the Oklahoma amateur wrestling standout and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, things have changed.
Zak Bevis, brother of WWE superstar Paige posted the following on Facebook: “After 3 days of discussions between WAW and WWE it’s been amicably decided that the talent known as Jack Swagger will not appear at “Isolation” this Saturday night March 11th in Norwich. We intend to bring Jack over in the future but at this point, we are trying to bring a suitable replace to wrestle Alberto El Patron.”
The crew at Impact Wrestling has been hard at work for the past few days getting new episodes of their Pop TV wrestling show in the can. The official Impact Wrestling Twitter account recently sent out a really cool group photo of the people behind the scenes along with a heartfelt thank you from the company.
Without people like this, there wouldn’t be a professional wrestling product anywhere, let alone just Impact Wrestling. These behind the scenes magic makers are the true driving force which allows creative and talent to do their things while they worry about the hard part.
Without these incredible people, our crew, none of what you see on TV would get done. Loyal and hard working are understatements! #ThankYou pic.twitter.com/6Vs6M9vnmm
