Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw is the go-home show for WWE Fastlane and it’s already loaded with top names. Goldberg is set to make an appearance, Brock Lesnar is being advertised and Seth Rollins is also confirmed for a sit down interview with Michael Cole.
It looks like we could be seeing a legendary WWE Hall of Famer on Raw tonight as well, because PWInsider is reporting that 16 time World Champion Ric Flair is backstage at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.
Ric Flair’s daughter Charlotte has been wrapped up in a rivalry with current Raw Women’s Champion Bayley, and she’s set to challenge Bayley for the title at Fastlane on Sunday. It’s possible that Flair could be making some kind of appearance to hype up the title match, but at this point it’s not confirmed that he will be part of tonight’s show.
Ric Flair and Charlotte aren’t on the best of terms as far as WWE storylines are concerned. Flair was managing his daughter for a while as she climbed the ladder in the women’s division, but Charlotte later turned on her dear old dad and broke his heart.
Flair has mostly stayed away from his daughter since then, but he did make an appearance on Raw a few months ago to congratulate Sasha Banks after she defeated Charlotte to win the Women’s Title.
If Flair does appear on Raw tonight it should be interesting to see where his allegiance lies.
