WWE SmackDown star Alexa Bliss recently spoke with IdahoPress.com to promote this weekend’s WWE live event at the Idaho Center. You can check out the full interview here along with some highlights below.
Hear reaction to being drafted: “When my picture showed up on the screen, I just dropped and started crying, then I realized I was being recorded so I stood up really quick. It was really an emotional feeling because I had been in NXT for three-and-a-half years and I had those moments where I was like I don’t know if I can keep doing this. It’s so hard. There are times where it’s very frustrating, and times where it’s really rewarding.”
What it’s like playing a heel: “I’m a bad guy right now. So at the last live event, I went to go high-five this woman’s kid and I ended up not doing it and she got really upset with me. Deep down I was kind of scared of her, but it was actually really funny. But that’s why I love traveling. I get to meet so many different people and go to so many different places that I’ve never been before, Nampa for example.”
Watching WWE growing up: “I watched WWE a lot when I was younger with my grandparents. Those were some of my best memories growing up. When I was younger, me and my cousins would pretend to be the Hardyz and Lita in a little blow-up pool that didn’t have water in it. It’s crazy to think that now I’m doing this for real.
Alexa Bliss is set to face Becky Lynch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on an upcoming episode of SmackDown. You can get more info on that below.
