It’s not often that members of the WWE roster beat John Cena clean, but AJ Styles did it at SummerSlam, and Dean Ambrose did it this week on SmackDown Live.
Dean Ambrose faced off with John Cena in the main event, and the two put on an action packed match with several close calls. In the end Ambrose got the victory with a roll-up.
After the referee counted three John Cena rolled out of the ring and sat on the floor in disbelief. Cena then stood up and AJ Styles came out of nowhere to hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Cena.
Styles then attacked Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan came out. Bryan announced that Styles will defend his title against Ambrose next week on SmackDown. Dean Ambrose then attacked AJ Styles and celebrated to end the show.
