WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with his latest blog where he talks about Damien Sandow’s TNA debut and more. You can check out the full entry here along with some highlights below.
Damien Sandow’s TNA debut: Head scratcher…if Damien Sandow is a surprise participant on the live episode of Impact Wresting Thursday night on Pop TV then why was his interview with Rolling Stone released in advance of that event? I know that it will “create more news” and a bit of a buzz but wrestling fans love surprises and this press release, in essence, doesn’t do the surprise element any favors. Nonetheless, Aaron Stevens aka Damien Sandow is a talented performer and will be a welcomed addition to the TNA team. Good signing.
Cedric Alexander and Kota Ibushi: Really nice bout on WWE Cruiserweight Classic Tournament Wednesday night with Cedric Alexander and Kota Ibushi. Alexander is especially an attractive prospect for WWE as he speaks English which gives him the slight nod over Ibushi IMO. Don’t get me wrong, Ibushi is a young star in the making and WWE would be well served to sign them both and likely will. Paul Levesque won’t allow these two talents to slip by him for sure. Both would make great additions to NXT especially in light of the recent call ups from NXT to the main roster.
Brock Lesnar being called lazy: Interesting comments made this week by Dean Ambrose and by Daniel Bryan regarding Brock Lesnar being “lazy.” If true, and I’m not saying that it is as I’m not around Lesnar whatsoever, could it be because Brock is residing the dreaded “comfort zone” which is an area that adversely affects professional careers in many fields and certainly negatively affects relationships of all kinds?
Yeah, Brock is lazy. He rarely wrestles & gets a huge check. Obviously its not ALL his fault as he doesnt do the booking, but he should never get a title belt if he isnt willing to be on TV every week like everyone else
