It’s been a big week for TNA. The company has been getting a lot of attention thanks to The Final Deletion/Wyatt Family controversy, and a few titles have also changed hands at this week’s Impact tapings.
Earlier this week the company taped the conclusion of the Eddie Edwards vs. Bobby Lashley Champion vs. Champion match, which Bobby Lashley won. Lashley is now the X-Division Champion and the TNA World Heavyweight Champion and the match will air on next week’s episode of Impact.
Yet another title change took place at the Impact tapings on Thursday and it looks like things are going to get interesting. James Storm faced off against Eli Drake for the King of the Mountain Championship and Storm won the match to become the new champion.
Bobby Lashley then challenged James Storm to a title vs. title match at a later date. Storm accepted the challenge.
EC3 also defeated Mike Bennett in a Bound For Glory playoff match to earn himself a spot in the BFG main event.
The segments should air on the August 8th episode of TNA Impact.
