Saturday night was a big night for Brock Lesnar. He made his return to the octagon at UFC 200 to take on Mark Hunt and in the end it was Lesnar who walked away with the victory.
Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt fought for three rounds and Lesnar was able to get the win via unanimous decision. Lesnar’s MMA record now stands at 6-3.
After the fight Brock celebrated in the octagon and thanked everyone. Joe Rogan asked Brock Lesnar where he goes from here, telling him that he’s “right back in the mix” with one fight, but Brock said he’s taking things one day at a time.
Brock then stopped and gave a shout out to the law enforcement officials who protect the United States of America. Lesnar paused and then said, “From sea to shining sea, from one white boy to all nationalities, we got to stand together people.”
At the post-fight press conference Brock said that he wanted to make sure people know that, “Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.” He added that his future is set with his match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam.
He noted that he wasn’t rocked during the fight and that he’s not sure what’s next for him in MMA, but he had one hell of a time. He told the press that MMA is a mental game.
Several WWE Superstars commented on Brock’s victory and you can read some of the post-match reactions below.
