For years fans have been dying to see John Cena face off against AJ Styles. John Cena is the face of the WWE and at one time AJ Styles was the face of TNA. Now that the two men work for the same company a Cena vs Styles match can actually happen.
John Cena will be making his return to Raw on May 30th and The Resch Center in Green Bay, WI is advertising Cena for a big match which will likely end up being a dark match. John Cena will team up with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to take on AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. This will be the first time that John Cena and AJ Styles come face to face in a WWE ring.
Back in March AJ Styles told Fox Sports that he hasn’t event met Cena yet.
“I’m going to be honest with you. I haven’t even talked to John Cena! Or Randy Orton. I’ve never met those guys,” Styles said. “So I’d be happy to just get the opportunity to talk with those guys, and eventually get in the ring with them.”
Well AJ Styles, it looks like you’re going to get your wish.
WWE is holding tryouts this week in Orlando and Triple H posted the following photo from the WWE Performance Center.
