Last night on Raw WWE Finally announced an Intercontinental Championship match for WrestleMania 32. Kevin Owens will be defending his title in a ladder match against Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Sin Cara, The Miz, Stardust and Zack Ryder. Yes, Zack Ryder.
Zack Ryder has been working in a tag team with Mojo Rawley in NXT as of late so his inclusion in the match seems kind of random. Even more random than the inclusion of Stardust and Sin Cara, because let’s face it, they came out of nowhere too.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Ryder’s spot was originally planned for Neville. Last week on Raw Neville went down with an injury when he fractured his ankle. The current timeline for his return is 2 to 3 months.
Hulk Hogan recently won his lawsuit against Gawker and he took home a lot of money. Hogan will be making his first post-trial TV appearance tomorrow when he appears on The View which airs on ABC.
