It looks like the partnership between AJ Styles and Chris Jericho is no more. Y2AJ came to an abrupt end when Chris Jericho hit Styles with a Codebreaker after they lost their WWE Tag Team Championship match.
Chris Jericho had Kofi in the Walls of Jericho when Big E threw Styles into the barricade on the outside of the ring. Big E hopped up onto the ring apron and tagged himself in. Jericho tried to get Big E in the Walls of Jericho, but he reversed it. Jericho threw him into the corner then went for the Codebreaker but Big E turned it into the Big Ending for the win.
After the match The New Day celebrated and walked up the ramp while Styles checked on Jericho in the ring. Jericho appeared to be cool, but then he turned on Styles out of nowhere and hit him with the Codebreaker. Jericho waited for Styles to get back up then he hit him with another Codebreaker. After knocking AJ Styles down for good Chris Jericho grabbed a Y2AJ shirt and shoved it down AJ’s throat.

After the match backstage Renee Young asked Jericho for a comment. Jericho said that he was angry because he was in Chicago where Y2J was born and all he could hear was the crowd chanting for AJ Styles. icho
