NXT Women’s Champion Bayley recently took a visit to WWE HQ in Stamford, CT for what she’s calling a “very important business meeting.” Bayley also told fans to “stay tuned.”
Obviously the first thing that comes to mind here is that Bayley may be getting called up to the main roster. WrestleMania 32 is right around the corner and we all know how WWE likes to up new talent shortly after WrestleMania season ends. Bayley certainly knows how to connect with a crowd, and her popularity has only increased since she won the title back in August. Could Bayley be the next one to join the Divas Revolution on the main roster?
Back in January Bayley was asked by the Green Bay Press Gazette if she was hesitant to move to the main roster. She expressed a lot of love for NXT, but said ultimately getting to the main roster is something she’s wanted to do for a long time.
“I’m not hesitant. It’s just that I’m very proud of NXT, and I’m so happy that I’m able to be a part of it. I watched NXT grow from 12 people to me winning the championship in front of 16,000 people. I love NXT because I obviously have an attachment to it, but I want to get up there (main roster) because that’s what I’ve wanted since I was 11.”
