NXT Champion Finn Balor has been out of action for a few weeks now as he’s been recovering from an ankle injury. But he returned to action at Thursday night’s NXT live event in Philadelphia and he had a very special tag team partner. Balor teamed with none other than Austin Aries to take on the team of Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin.
The team of Finn Balor and Austin Aries won the match and walked away with the victory. Before making his way to the ring NXT Champion Finn Balor even rocked a Deadpool mask for a an interesting teaser video backstage.

On a related note, Finn Balor teamed up with Sami Zayn at Friday night’s NXT live event in Asbury Park, NJ. The two defeated the team of Baron Corbin and Samoa Joe.
