Kurt Angle recently finished up his retirement tour with TNA and now he’s been announced for two independent shows.
We reported a few days ago that Kurt Angle has been booked to face Rey Mysterio next month at a mixed event being put on by the UR Fight promotion. The card features Angle vs Mysterio in a wrestling match, Dan Severn vs Ken Shamrock in a MMA match, Roy Jones Jr. boxing a fan and more. For what it’s worth the promotion is now teasing a “blockbuster announcement” coming soon for the event.
In addition to the UR Fight event, Angle has also been confirmed for Destiny World Wrestling’s Justice event on April 10th. The official announcement says that Kurt Angle will be in the house but it doesn’t mention whether or not he will be wrestling.
