Hacktivist group Anonymous revealed this morning that they have discovered several locations and events where ISIS is planning possible terrorist attacks according to the International Business Times. One of the locations was the site of Survivor Series which is set to take place in Atlanta, GA tomorrow. As of right now the show will go on and WWE has released the following statement:
“WWE Survivor Series is currently scheduled as planned while we investigate the matter with federal, state and local authorities.”
In addition to that, the FBI has also issued a statement to the local CBS affiliate in Atlanta saying that they are taking the threats seriously.
“The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event. While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time. We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and privatesector partners to keep our community safe.”
It was also mentioned in the report from CBS that the Atlanta Police Department told reporter Mark Winne that they were talking about replanning the event.
