John Cena is out of the US Title picture and now it’s time for Alberto Del Rio to start taking on new challengers. Last night on Raw WWE aired a segment where Jack Swagger confronted Zeb Colter about his recent actions and Del Rio interrupted the conversation.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the segment was meant to kick off another feud between Swagger and Alberto with the two facing off at Survivor Series for the US Title.
Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger are no strangers when it comes to each other. The two previously feuded over the World Heavyweight Championship which led to a title match at WrestleMania 29. However at the time Zeb Colter was managing Swagger and it appears that this time the heel/face dynamic will be flipped.
