WWE recently confirmed that Lana injured herself while training and will be out for four months. Lana released a statement where she mentions that she’s been training ever since she signed with WWE saying:
“Every since I have debuted in @wwe I have continued to go to @wwenxt & come hours early before live events to train & learn how to fight.”
Bryan Alvarez is reporting that after the statement came out a WWE source contacted him and made it a point to mention that Lana hasn’t been seen at the WWE Performance Center in “forever.” They also mentioned that it’s rare to see Lana at NXT live events and that her and Rusev recently bought a house in Nashville, meaning if they’re still together it would be tough for her to get down to Orlando to train. This has obviously led to speculation that Lana’s training is just a storyline and that she hasn’t been training in real life.
