Since retiring from WWE Edge has been taking on some acting work and it looks like he will be playing a villain for an episode of “The Flash” during season 2.
UPDATE: ComicBook.com has confirmed Edge will be playing Atom Smasher who is a hero in the comic but will not be on the good guys’ side in the show.
The CW described the villain as follows:
One of the most powerful enemies we encounter this season, Atom Smasher has come to Central City to kill The Flash. His incredible strength and ability to grow to enormous size makes him more than a match for Flash and the entire S.T.A.R. Labs team will have to come together to find a way to defeat him.”
“The Flash” season 2 is set to premiere on October 6th.
