Writer/director Max Landis who recently did the acclaimed video “Wrestling Isn’t Wrestling” is back with a new video where he tries to explain to people why John Cena gets booed even though he seems like such a nice guy.

He uses comic book metaphors in attempt to have it make sense to people who might not understand what’s been going on in WWE for the past few years. In all fairness here, his analogy is pretty much spot on. Cena has been on a roll lately and he’s been very entertaining to watch. He’s also been doing a great job at helping to build new talent. But none of us, not a single one of us will ever forget the dark times that will come to be known as the “CENA WINS LOL” era.

Max does a pretty awesome job of summing it up for all of us. Check it out in the video above.

  1. Not sure how he’s helping bid new talent when he’s still beating them. The WWE guys he faced aren’t in any way doing better. Sami Zain and Kevin Owens were already established from their buildup in nXt. Cena is only being put in the best spot to make himself look good.
