Chael Sonnen has made many claims over the past few years that WWE is interested in him and WWE has denied every single one of them. Recently he mentioned that WWE invited him to WrestleMania 31 to “talk about stuff.”
The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Gerald Brisco has setup an unofficial meeting between Sonnen and Kevin Dunn during WrestleMania 31 weekend. Apparently WWE wants to talk to him about some sort of unspecified on air role, which may possibly be a position as an announcer.
In regards to Wanderlei Silva claiming on Facebook that WWE made him the best offer he’s ever received, The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE is saying they’ve had no talks with Silva. Silva is still under contract to UFC but is currently suspended.
