Stephanie Vaquer’s status has been a hot topic recently as she was originally supposed to face Becky Lynch in a match on Raw this week to determine the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship.
However, Adam Pearce later announced that Stephanie Vaquer was not medically cleared to compete, so instead Liv Morgan defended the Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch in the Raw main event.
PWInsider is now reporting that Stephanie Vaquer was not at Monday Night Raw earlier this week. It was also noted that Vaquer’s injury is believed to be illness related.
At this point it is not clear when Vaquer might be returning to WWE as False Finish is reporting that the former Women’s World Champion is out of action indefinitely.
Vaquer dropped the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan earlier this month at Money in the Bank, and it was announced on the following episode of Raw that Vaquer was sidelined due to an ankle injury. It was announced over the weekend that she had been cleared, but obviously her status has changed.
Stay tuned for updates.
