There are a number of weekly shows for WWE fans to watch, one of which is Main Event. The show first launched in 2012 and has aired on a number of platforms such as Ion Television, Hulu, WWE Network and Peacock. Currently Main Event is streaming on YouTube, but it looks like the show has found a new home.
Today WWE announced that Main Event will be moving to Rumble starting October 14th, and it will stream every Wednesday at 8pm ET/5pm PT. The company posted the following announcement:
“WWE and @rumblevideo have announced a long-term distribution and content partnership in which Rumble will become the new home WWE Main Event!
Beginning Oct. 14, Rumble will stream WWE Main Event every Wednesday starting at 8pm ET/5pm PT, with each episode available at http://Rumble.com/WWE!”
Alexa Varga, executive vice president at WWE commented on the move when he said, “Serving a digital-first audience is a core focus for WWE, and Rumble has built an accessible platform that is committed to delivering premium sports and entertainment programming.”
