Oba Femi has found himself involved in a feud with The Vision, and last week on Raw the group decimated The Ruler. As The Vision was asserting their dominance over Femi, Bronson Reed placed his foot on the King of the Ring winner while Femi was laid out on the mat, and clips of Femi pushing Reed’s foot away quickly went viral.
During a recent interview with The West Sport, Bronson Reed addressed the viral moment and noted that he and Oba Femi are both motivated to be number one.
“I think you got to remember, like, I am the top dog. I’m always going to assert dominance and that’s what I would try to do, and he’s very much the same. That’s why he obviously hit my foot off. So, if people have speculation about these things, then go for it, speculate. But of course, both of us want to be number one, and we’re going to to do whatever it takes to be number one.
While I was away for those six months I made sure to watch Monday nights, every single week, and I saw the rise of Oba Femi, and how much he’s become a big part of WWE, and is one of the mainstays now. I think you should always be gunning for the top spot. So, if that’s what has happened in these last six months, that’s who I’m targeting.”
Oba Femi has yet to comment on the situation. One way or another it will be interesting to see how things play out in the weeks to come as Femi’s feud with The Vision has clearly escalated since Bronson Reed returned.
