The wrestling world is mourning right now as it was recently reported that The Butcher Andy Williams passed away after he competed in a tag team match at an Enjoy Wrestling event in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Williams spent a number of years competing in All Elite Wrestling alongside his partner The Blade before their contracts with the company expired back in June. AEW recently posted the following statement on the passing of Andy Williams:
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to learn of the passing of Andy Williams, aka The Butcher. A trailblazing musician with ETID and Atomic Rule, Williams made a successful transition into the world of professional wrestling and was incredibly respected by his peers both in and out of the ring. Our condolences go out to Williams’ family, friends and fans.”
