This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from Oklahoma City and the show featured Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes in a non-title match.
Ahead of the match Trick Williams was looking for his United States Championship in the locker room, but he couldn’t find it. Lil Yachty appeared and said that he talked to the WWE higher ups and got Trick a legacy title belt. He then handed Trick a custom United States Championship belt with the strap covered in fur.

After the belt was introduced Carmelo Hayes made his entrance followed by Trick Williams and the match kicked off as Ricky Saints watched from the backstage area.
Near the end of the match Carmelo Hayes went for a Frog Splash, but Trick rolled out of the way. Trick connected with the Trick Kick and Melo kicked out at two. They found outside the ring and Trick bumped into Lil Yachty. Back in the ring Carmelo Hayes connected with First 48 then went to the top rope.
Baron Corbin appeared out nowhere then grabbed Melo and pulled him off the top to cause a disqualification. He then destroyed both Trick and Carmelo with the End of Days. Corbin grabbed the new United States Championship belt and dropped it on Trick before leaving.
