Over the last few years LA Knight has become one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster, but there’s often been a lot of discussion among fans on social media regarding how Knight is booked.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, LA Knight stepped into the ring with Jey Uso, Finn Balor and Royce Keys to compete in a first round King of the Ring fatal four way match, which was won by Jey.
During a recent episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select it was noted that there are people in WWE who worry about LA Knight’s in-ring capabilities.
It’s being said that the thought is Jey Uso is a better wrestler than LA Knight, and WWE feels Jey Uso is the better worker of the two. It was also noted that Jey Uso moves more merchandise and the feeling is Jey has a more coachable side to him.
It was speculated that due to the mistakes LA Knight has made in the ring WWE doesn’t trust Knight as much as they trust Jey Uso, which is a big part of why Jey Uso won the King of the Ring first round fatal four way instead of LA Knight.
While Knight has maintained his popularity and hovered around the main event scene in recent years, he has struggled to solidify himself as one of the top stars in the company. With Knight now eliminated from the King of the Ring tournament it’s not clear where he goes from here.
