Punk appeared on the following episode of Raw, but he has been absent from WWE programming since then, and his absence has led to a lot of speculation regarding his status with the company.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that several sources in WWE expect CM Punk to return in July, and it’s being said that Punk is set for a significant role at SummerSlam in August.
One source reportedly stated that all signs point to CM Punk returning on the July 6th episode of Monday Night Raw which is set to emanate from Chicago. The date has not been officially confirmed, but the expectation is that CM Punk’s return is not far away.
Regarding the online speculation with CM Punk and TKO, it was noted that none of the sources who spoke on the subject indicated any concern had spread in the locker room. It’s being said that there was no discussion of any issues between both parties. If there are any concerns they are being kept quiet.
