It’s been an eventful week for Ludwig Kaiser as it was revealed that Kaiser was arrested last Wednesday for battery due to an incident that took place on April 24th.
Fightful Select reports that those they spoke to in WWE believe the charges will eventually be dismissed based on the information they’ve been receiving. It’s also being said that Kaiser doesn’t have any heat within the company among those they spoke to, and WWE was filled in on the details by the night of the arrest.
Moving forward Ludwig Kaiser is not expected to have any restrictions now that clearance for international travel has been provided by a judge. He is not expected to miss the upcoming mask vs. mask match against El Grande Americano this weekend.
After news of Ludwig Kaiser’s arrest broke a rumor was making the rounds claiming Kaiser was defending himself and Andrea Bazarte after some comments were made about ICE getting called. However, Fightful is reporting that a number of sources within the company believe the story was planted within WWE. It’s being said that there was an unfamiliar number that reached out to members of wrestling media with the story, and it was not a story that originated from Kaiser, Bazarte, or a member of WWE’s team.
Regarding the talent reaction some were in disbelief of the “defense” narrative, and said that Ludwig Kaiser should have just removed himself from the situation.
