Over the last few years Dominik Mysterio has worked had to establish himself as one of the top stars in WWE, but it seems that in some ways his momentum has stalled in recent months.
During a recent interview with Esse Magazine, Dominik Mysterio was asked why he’s not featured on the Clash in Italy card, and he had an interesting response.
“I don’t think they know what to do with me. I’m too cool. They have lightning in a bottle, but they don’t know what to do with it, so they’re just letting it sit. I’m like you, but I’m just waiting.”
“I could have all of the storylines, but like I said, they don’t know what to do with me. I’m too good. Lightning in a bottle – they’re just, they’re holding me.”
When asked what WWE is waiting for Dominik said, “I don’t know. Like I said, I’ve beaten John Cena, I’ve beaten AJ Styles, beaten Rey Mysterio, beaten Damian Priest. I don’t know. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. I’m 29 years old, kid’s young, you got all these old fossils working. At the end of the day, I’m a patient man, I can wait. I got the Judgment Day with me, AAA Mega Champion. If they want to put me on Clash in Italy, I’ll put my Mega Championship on the line, it don’t even matter.”
Dominik Mysterio last wrestled on the 5/11 episode of Raw when he defeated Original El Grande Americano to retain his AAA Mega Championship. Prior to that his last match was at WrestleMania 42 when he was defeated by Finn Balor.
