This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw continued to focus on the build for the Clash in Italy premium live event which is set to feature Roman Reigns defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match.
During a backstage segment on Raw, Adam Pearce told Roman Reigns that he understands Tribal Combat, but Jacob Fatu shouldn’t be with WWE, he should be fired.
Roman told Adam Pearce that he wasn’t aware Jacob Fatu even knew about Tribal Combat, but Jacob understood his obligation to accept the challenge, because The Tribal Chief can’t back down.
Reigns continued as he declared that in the contract their has to be consequences, so if Jacob loses he will have to serve The Tribal Chief, or Adam Pearce will get his way and Jacob will be fired. Roman then looked at Pearce and said, “If he beats me, good luck.”
Later in the night during the main event segment, Jacob agreed to the stipulation. However, Jacob told Roman then when he wins at Clash in Italy, Roman and everyone else will have to acknowledge him. They shook hands as the show went off the air.
