Sol Ruca has become one of the most talked about stars in the WWE women’s division and she recently joined the Monday Night Raw brand. Sol officially signed her Raw contract during the May 4th episode, but her big moment was interrupted by Becky Lynch.
During the segment Sol Ruca went for a Sol Snatcher on Becky Lynch, and she ended up tripping on the ropes while she was setting up the move. While speaking to The Ringer about the reaction to the segment, Sol Ruca noted that Triple H gave her some words of encouragement, and also recommended that she not buy into the negative feedback on social meida.
“I did have Triple H call me after my debut with Becky and the promo and stuff and he was like, ‘I just want you to know you did a great job.’ I was like ‘Yeah, I’m just gonna stay off social media, not 100% happy with how it turned out.’
But he was like ‘We think you did amazing, don’t worry about it, don’t go on social media.’ He really just gave me that ok of like ‘You’re fine, don’t care what people say, we think you did amazing and just keep doing what you’re doing.’”
Sol Ruca will be in action this weekend as she’s set to face off against Becky Lynch at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, May 23rd. Stay tuned for updates.
