It was recently revealed that Ludwig Kaiser (real name Marcel Barthel) was arrested on Wednesday, May 20th for battery. The Florida Affidavit for Arrest shows that a man by the name of Richard Reap is claiming that he encountered Kaiser being “uncontrollably intimate” with a woman inside of an elevator, and was attacked by Kaiser after he exited the elevator and told them to “please have some manners.” The incident originally took place on April 24th according to the affidavit.

PWInsider is reporting that Ludwig Kaiser’s attorneys filed a motion this morning in Orange County, Florida Court to allow him to travel freely internationally ahead of his huge match coming up in AAA on May 30.

The motion cited that he has no prior criminal background, and he was in Mexico on May 19th when he found out about the arrest warrant, and flew back so he could turn himself in. The motion also states that his job requires him to travel around the United States and internationally in order to maintain his employment.

It’s also being reported that Ludwig Kaiser has filed a plea of not guilty for the battery charge that has been brought against him. The report also notes that he has waived his right to appear for his arraignment.

Ludwig Kaiser is currently set to perform as El Grande Americano and face off against Original El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match for AAA on May 30th. As of this writing WWE has yet to comment on the situation.
