WWE is constantly signing new talent, and while some wrestlers get to keep their name when they sign with the company, it’s not uncommon at all for WWE to give talent a new name.
Bodyslam is reporting that that Rayne Leverkusen will now be using the name Lizzy Rain in WWE moving forward. According to the report it was implied that the name change included Rayne Leverkusen’s love for metal music.
Last summer Rayne Leverkusen was named the MVP of the WWE SummerSlam tryouts in New Jersey. It was reported back in February that sources in Brit Wrestling believed that Leverkusen had signed with the company, and the signing was officially announced in March.
Leverkusen was spotted at ringside last month during NXT Vengeance Day when Kelani Jordan faced off against Lola Vice in an underground match, but she has yet to wrestle on television since signing with the company.
