This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA and the show featured two big debuts. Royce Keys made his SmackDown debut when he picked up a win over Berto, and Danhausen made his WWE in-ring debut later in the show.
At one point during SmackDown, The Miz and Kit Wilson confronted Nick Aldis as they went off about referee Dan Engler not counting the pin during the WWE Tag Team Championship match last week. Aldis said there’s nothing he can do because the referee was cursed. Miz and Kit insisted they wanted to get revenge on Dan, so Aldis booked Kit in a match with Danhausen.
The Miz watched the match from ringside and Danhausen slid outside the ring at one point and put his arm around MIz. Kit Wilson followed up with a flying elbow to Danhausen on the outside followed by several more inside the ring.
Kit went to the top rope, but Danhausen sat up just before he could jump. Danhausen cursed Kit and pyro went off from the turnbuckle. Shortly after Danhausen hit Kit with a big boot to win the match.
After the match The Miz tried to attack Danhausen, but the lights went out and Danhausen escaped.
