The lineup for night 1 and night 2 of WrestleMania 42 was officially announced earlier this week on ESPN, and now it seems that the card is set. Iyo Sky vs. Asuka had been rumored for the show, but as of this writing the match has not been confirmed.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that last week Iyo Sky vs. Asuka was listed on the internal lineup for WrestleMania even though the match hadn’t been announced yet. When the official lineup for both nights of WrestleMania was announced on ESPN the Iyo Sky vs. Asuka match was not mentioned.
It’s now being reported that the match is up in the air for WrestleMania, and right now it depends on how long WWE wants the show to go. There is said to be a plan to save the match for Backlash, but as of right now the decision is still up in the air.
WrestleMania 42 will air live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and April 19 and the current card can be seen below.
