The last few weeks have been eventful to say the least and one of WWE’s up and coming stars was sidelined due to injury. Recently it was reported that Elio LeFleur and Lexis King were injured during an eight man tag match during the NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida on March 20. Lexis King has been cleared, but unfortunately LeFleur is now out of action.
Elio LeFleur confirmed during last week’s episode of NXT that his labrum and ligaments are torn in his shoulder, and he announced that he will be out of action for six months.
It looks like Elio LeFleur is already on the road to recovery as he confirmed today that he underwent successful surgery when he posted the following:

At the time he suffered the injury Elio LeFleur was the WWE Speed Champion. LeFleur was forced to vacate the title, and a tournament to crown a new champion is currently scheduled to kick off on NXT tonight.
