WrestleMania 42 is less than two weeks away and the lineup for night 1 and night 2 was officially confirmed this morning on ESPN. Recently it’s been rumored that Iyo Sky and Asuka could be facing off on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but the match was not mentioned when Joe Tessitore confirmed the card for the show.
Iyo Sky recently hinted that the match is still in the works when she tagged Allegiant Stadium in an Instagram post which featured the following caption:
“The achievements you’ve made in WWE have been truly brilliant.
Kairi and I have always looked up to you.
But the way you’re treating Kairi right now is changing all of that!!
If dragging Kairi around and using her as a shield is your idea of “LOVE,”
then my “LOVE” is to go anywhere and everywhere to be Rhea’s shield.
I’m DEFINITELY NOT afraid to face You, my senior whom I once LOVED so dearly.
Let’s settle this once and for all: which of our “LOVES” deserves to have it all.”
POST Wrestling is reporting that Iyo Sky vs. Asuka is still expected to be added to the WrestleMania 42 card even though it was not featured on the match listings that were announced on ESPN.
WrestleMania 42 will air live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and April 19, and the current card can be seen below.
