A successful Money in the Bank cash in can take a career to the next level, but there have been a number of wrestlers who have unfortunately failed while trying to capitalize on their guaranteed title shot.

Back in 2013, Damien Sandow attempted to win the World Heavyweight Championship when he cashed in on John Cena, but Sandow walked away empty handed after Cena picked up the victory.

While talking about his Money in the Bank cash in during an interview with Sportshadow, Damien Sandow recalled how things played out when Triple H told him the news.

“I was just told, this is what’s going to happen. I wasn’t the happiest guy in the building that day, but we had, I think it was three segments to fill, so I had to put my boots on and go to work. I think it was Hunter (who told him about the failed cash in), if I’m not mistaken. I was like, ‘Okay.’ What are you going to say, right? If that’s the decision, what am I going to do, change it? No, I don’t own the company.”

Damien Sandow also recently shared his thoughts on a potential WWE return and you can get more details on that here.
