All Elite Wrestling is constantly on the hunt for new talent and back in May of 2025, Thekla made her debut with the company. Since then Thekla has gone on to become one of the top stars in the women’s division, and she defeated Kris Statlander in February to become the new AEW Women’s Champion.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that Thekla recently re-signed with All Elite Wrestling. The exact length of the contract is unknown, but she reportedly signed a multi-year deal.
It’s also being reported that Thekla originally signed a two year deal with All Elite Wrestling after making the jump from Japan, but AEW was said to have been so happy with her performance that they decided to sign her to a new multi-year deal even though she wasn’t even a full year into her original deal. It was also noted that she used representation.
Earlier this month Thekla defended the AEW Women’s Championship at the Revolution pay-per-view against Kris Statlander when she put the belt on the line in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Thekla ultimately retained after winning 2 to 1.
