Earlier this month the AEW Revolution pay-per-view aired live from Los Angeles and Ronda Rousey shocked the world when she called out Toni Storm after Storm defeated Marina Shafir.
In the latest video on her YouTube channel Ronda Rousey opened up about her appearance, and she explained that she saw it as a “f**k you” to TKO which owns WWE and UFC.
“It’s kind of a cool little bit of a like of a f**k you to TKO. Which is kind of funny because WWE is on Netflix. But I kind of figured it’d be easier to ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Like, I’m promoting your show. It’s fine. We didn’t advertise it. It’s not like we boosted the ratings. So, it should be fine.”
Despite Ronda Rousey’s show stopping appearance at AEW Revolution it’s been reported that Rousey is not signed with All Elite Wrestling, and the appearance was just a one off.
One way or another Ronda Rousey is sure to be a hot topic among combat sports fans in the weeks to come as she will be making her MMA return when she faces off against Gina Carano live on Netflix on May 16th.
