Professional wrestling is not for the weak and as many fans know injuries unfortunately happen from time to time. Over the weekend Eli Knight, Elio LeFleur, Kale Dixon & Tavion Heights teamed up to face Channing Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, Lexis King & Uriah Connors at the NXT live event in Lakeland, FL.
During the match Lexis King took a knee to the face, and there was some concern that Elio LeFleur nay have suffered an arm injury during a turnbuckle spot. Lexis King is said to be ok, but LeFleur is apparently injured.
Fightful Select is reporting that sources close to Elio LeFleur have confirmed that the current WWE Speed Champion suffered an arm injury at the live event. It’s also been confirmed that Elio LeFleur is now in a sling.
At this point in time the extent of the injury is unknown, and it’s not clear if he will miss any time in the ring. As of earlier today the official NXT Twitter account was still advertising Elio LeFleur for a tag team match on tonight’s show.
